Good Evening,

Attached you will find a digital copy of the BLET Auxiliary Family Resource Guide. This is a living document we are proud to share, and it will continue to grow as we add new information and resources that benefit railroad families. We encourage you to explore it, and if you spot anything we might improve or have ideas for future updates, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

While this guide is a valuable resource in itself, it is only one part of what the BLET Auxiliary provides. If you are not yet a member, we would like to extend a warm invitation to join our organization. The Auxiliary exists to support railroad families in meaningful ways, through scholarships, financial assistance during times of hardship, legislative advocacy, and by building a strong community of people who understand the unique challenges of railroad life.

Membership is open to spouses and family members of BLET members as regular members, while associate membership is available to BLET members themselves, as well as friends of BLET members who may not have a family connection. And for those who don’t have a local auxiliary nearby, there is the option to become a Member-at-Large, ensuring that everyone can participate and receive the benefits of belonging.

Dues are paid annually, keeping membership simple and affordable, while directly supporting programs that strengthen and uplift our community nationwide. It is a small commitment that helps us do big things, whether it’s awarding scholarships, assisting families in need, or giving railroaders and their loved ones a stronger voice.

If you would like to learn more about our mission, our programs, and how to join, we invite you to visit our website at bletauxiliary.net. You will quickly see why the Auxiliary continues to be such an important part of the BLET family, and why there has never been a better time to get involved.

For those who also requested a printed copy of the Resource Guide, we are working to fulfill those requests as soon as the books arrive from the printer.

Thank you again for your interest and support. Whether you are receiving this guide as a member or as someone simply curious about what we do, we encourage you to take the next step and join us. Together, we can make a real difference for railroad families across the nation.

Sincerely,
Jodi Wallace
